Trustees

Hugh Graham is a leisure consultant who lives and works in Eastbourne. He has held senior positions in both the NHS and local government service; as Chairman of the Eastbourne Sports Council, he has been at the forefront of sports developments in the town over many years. He is a member of the Institute of Leisure and Amenity Management (ILAM) and holds a masters degree in Social Policy. He has lived in the town since 1984.

Philip Hill has worked as an accountant at a senior level in both the public and private sectors for over 20 years. He joined the local building society in 1982 as Accountant and was later appointed as Deputy Chief Executive. Since then he established an indoor adventure centre for children and recently retired as Finance Director at City College Brighton and Hove. A regular swimmer, he lives in Eastbourne with his wife and son.

Paul McNaught Davis, B.Ed, MA was the Head of Chelsea School at the University of Brighton until 2006. He has been lecturing in sports science, leisure and PE since 1976 and was appointed to the Head of department in 1998. He has written several text books on fitness and health and is a member of a keen sporting family

Alan Putland is a retired local engineer and businessman for whom swimming has been a lifelong passion. He has held various offices in the Eastbourne Swimming Club and has represented the club in many different capacities.

Cllr Neil Stanley represents Eastbourne Borough Council on the trust board. He is a teacher by profession and has represented the Devonshire Ward for many years. He has held various responsibilities and now has responsibility for special projects
