The Sovereign Centre is a busy swimming environment and the following policies have been put in place to ensure the safety of young children in our pools at all time.

Ratio Information and Session Times

• Children aged 4 – 7 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult (i.e. over the age of 16 years) on a 2:1 ratio.
• Children aged 3 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult (i.e. over the age of 16 years) on a 1:1 ratio.
• For example, if you have one 3 year old and one 6 year old they will need two adults to accompany them into the water.

2:1 Session times

We understand that at times 2 adults may not be availiable to swim, so we offer a 2:1 session when one adult can bring in two children under the age of 3 or one child under the age of 3 and one child under the age of 7. These times are listed below:
